Hello, my name is Anna and I’m about to start my third year in Bsc Mathematics. I’m studying Mathematics as my aim is to pursue a career in teaching where I can make a positive impact on my students both academically and in a general sense. I am interested in health and wellbeing and enjoy going to the gym. I am a dog person and love spending time walking my own dogs.  I applied to be a part of the ResLife team because I would love to be able to help students have a positive university experience. 

Hi, I’m Claire, I’m in my second year studying Physics. I enjoy listening to music, karaoke, cooking and trying new foods, and reading. I also really enjoy discussing philosophy, so you’ll often find me in conversations that I could only describe as “weird, but wonderful”. I applied to join the ResLife Team as they were incredibly fun and supportive during my first year at Lincoln, which helped me to feel more at home. I was inspired to help other students to have an enjoyable and positive experience at university.

Hi, I’m Dorotea, but most people call me Dotty. I’m currently studying Interior Architecture and Design, a field I love because it allows me to explore my creativity. Outside of my studies, I enjoy arts and crafts, cooking, and spending time with my friends. I’m also passionate about animals and speak Hungarian fluently.

I wanted to join the ResLife team because I used to attend their events in my free time, and I really appreciated the sense of community and the friendly faces I encountered. Now, I’m excited to be part of that same experience and contribute to creating a welcoming environment for others.

Hi! I’m Ellie, and I am about to start my third year on BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture & Design. In my spare time, I enjoy going to karaoke nights, watching movies(some of my favourites are ‘La La Land’ and ‘The Greatest Showman’), listening to music, playing games, and doing some arts and crafts.

I wanted to join the ResLife team because I love supporting and assisting others. I understand how challenging it is to make a significant change and leave home, especially since I am an international student studying in the UK. I want to use my experience to help students, have a better and more enjoyable time at the university, and to assist those who might experience the same challenges I did, when I first arrived.

Hey, I’m Ethan and I’m starting my third year of my Psychology degree. My hobbies and interests include both watching and playing football, playing pool/snooker and golf with my friends. For my favourite films, it is usually anything with Adam Sandler, probably Shutter Island and Inception both starring Leonardo DiCaprio and all the Marvel movies.

I applied to join the ResLife Team as I have a passion for helping other students who may be overwhelmed or apprehensive about their transition to university life. I had a very positive experience living in student accommodation in my first year so I want to ensure future students have a similar, if not better, experience. I have just finished a year abroad in Canada so I have first-hand experience of being an international student in a new environment. Therefore, I can reflect on this to provide further support to international students visiting Lincoln too.

Hi everyone! My name is Marie-Gabrielle but everyone calls me Gabby. I’m in my 3rd year at Lincoln. I’m an avid animal lover, and I share my home with a goldfish and my tuxedo cat, Felix. Her playful antics and charming personality never fail to bring a smile to my face. I have a deep passion for travel, and my ultimate dream is to travel to lots of different countries and learn about and experience so many different cultures and traditions. On most weekends, you’ll find me engrossed in the pages of a new book or indulging in rewatching some of my favourite TV shows like Gilmore Girls, How I Met Your Mother, or Grey’s Anatomy.

I applied to be part of the ResLife team because I wanted to play a part in creating a positive, inclusive living environment for all residents in university halls.

Hi, my name is Harvey and I’m in my third year of my Pharmacy degree. I am a keen road cyclist and love skiing, so I have something to keep me busy all year round whether the sun is out or if it’s snowing. I love pushing my skills on the slopes and going further and further on my bike, exploring new places whilst I’m at it.

I applied to the ResLife team to make the most of my time at University and have a positive impact on others. A big part of it for me is to make new friends and bring others together so they can enjoy their time at Lincoln as much as possible.

Hello everyone! I am Joe and I’m starting the third year of my Fine Art degree! I am a huge anime fan, as you can tell by my many anime tattoos. my favourite is One Piece. I like to spend my time gaming and picking up heavy circles in the gym. I can be quiet; however, I will get involved if the right nerdy topic comes along.

I applied for the Reslife position to make a difference to those struggling with confidence issues and give people a place to make some great friends. I cannot wait to meet some truly interesting people, and to listen to their stories of how they got here.

Hey, I’m Joshua. I’ve just started my Masters in Construction Science & Management. I’m from Hong Kong, loves cooking, crafting, singing, dancing, meeting new people, anime, movies, Hot Wheels, Jazz and much more.

I joined ResLife as the ResLife team helped me when I came to the Uni and was an under 18 student so I want to help students meet and make new friends!

Hi, I’m Maggie and I’m so excited to be part of ResLife this year. I’m currently a third year Psychology student, hoping to one day teach psychology. In my free time, I love to do art (mostly digital), and you’ll sometimes catch me in the gym. I’m also obsessed with horror movies and games and I love music (from indie artists like Coma Cinema, to hugely popular artists like Taylor swift).

Hi, my name is Muna and I’m currently studying Medicine. When I have time, I love to read and cook foods from different cuisines. I also love spending time with my family and friends. As a student, I understand how daunting and lonely moving out to university can be, which is why I want to make your experience more exciting and fun so you can have some of your best years at the University of Lincoln.

Hey I’m Pipelore and when I’m not studying for my medicine degree and goal to be a paediatrician, I love travelling, photography and crocheting. I recently started roller skating and I love listening to music (my favourite genre right now is afrobeats).

Hi, I’m Rebeca I am originally from Brazil! I am a 2nd year Bioveterinary Science student and when I graduate I plan to move on to a Vet school in London and eventually work in that field.

In my free time I like to paint landscapes or play games, specifically Minecraft and Identity V. When I’m not doing that I am listening to music, K-pop. My favourite K-pop groups are Red Velvet and BTS (Just one Day is a great song or BTS’s V Layover album! All the songs are great)! I love watching k-drama which my favourite ones are Guardian: The Lonely and Great God and Our Beloved Summer. When I want to watch something different I watch anime.

Working for the Reslife team is absolutely awesome! I always have the best time with my other colleagues at the lounge. Since I started, I have learned a lot of things that I will definitely help me during life & working for Reslife has definitely been one of the greatest decisions I’ve made this year!

Hi, I’m Safi and I’m in my final year of my Pharmacy degree. I came to the University of Lincoln from Toronto, Canada. I enjoy playing football, guitar, going for walks, and travelling the world. I am also interested in all things related to health and wellness.
